00:03:09: I believe that's What you've been looking up.

00:03:13: they're pretty similar for the most part.

00:03:15: there's some Some you know differences here and there as a kind of compiled all the different analysis rankings.

00:03:21: but in general There's a lot of Consensus at this point And all these rankings are going to change pretty dramatically.

00:03:27: But it was interesting to see this snapshot.

00:03:30: Now that we've had free agency settle We've had You know All the trade season settles and then all the teams for themost part or kind of who?

00:03:39: They're gonna be.

00:03:41: Yeah, there's a lot of rotational questions still and it's interesting because obviously if you're a listener Of this podcast by the way.

00:05:13: Uh And I Get Kind Of Nervous About It Because Im Sewing The Weeds With Football.

00:05:17: Um But As Soon as I Started Reading This I Was Surprised Like how Quickly I was able To Generate Takes And Got Into It.

00:05:25: And you know, it's nice to let somebody else like Dan Titus shout out.

00:06:40: And so there's already been some initial movement on the rankings.

00:06:43: I think that you were looking at and some of those names but i think we're going to see some movement as in the bottom is anyone by name?

00:06:49: they are do have locked-in as a top ten player.

00:06:53: There he was.

00:06:54: three players like it mentioned here an they have slightly different ratings than yahoo ones hear really caught my eye.

00:07:00: uh... you know as question marks and i kind of didn't that I didn't love where they were ranked, starting at six.

00:07:09: I'm going to go and granted...I love all these players!

00:07:13: I am a fan of all those players.

00:07:15: the rank where their currently slotted feels a little high for me.

00:07:19: but in that was uh starting with Maxi it's- It has

00:07:21: to be yeah he remained at six.

00:07:23: Titus dropped him in at six then he is remaining at six

00:07:27: That's true.

00:07:27: Yeah i mean..he was number five player last year.

00:07:30: great player He only twenty five years old.

00:07:34: So there's so much to like about him.

00:07:36: The thing that makes you nervous obviously is their roster quite a bit different.

00:07:40: Maxi had a thirty percent usage last year, and this season they added Jillian Brown, thirty six percent usage.

00:07:47: LeBron James twenty seven percent usage.

00:07:50: VJ Edgecomb twenty percent use-age.

00:07:53: NNB thirty four percent usage.

00:07:55: And granted I know not all these players can be playing every game together.

00:07:58: They're not going on the court at all times.

00:08:00: but those those five players alone makes for a hundred and forty seven percent usage.

00:08:07: I mean, there's just only one ball.

00:08:08: so they're-I think Maxi is going to have take small jump down this

00:08:14: year.".

00:08:14: You haven't even gotten the Dean Wade inclusion

00:08:19: that could break the model?

00:09:08: um...and That is Jalen Johnson at uh..at ten or i think yeah, you had Dan Thaiz at nine?

00:09:16: Um He-I Think he's a great player.

00:09:20: I love his well-rounded game, his percentages and defense.

00:09:26: He was hitting threes even last season.

00:09:29: The thing is that gives me a little pause And you know what?

00:09:33: I'm not saying...I wouldn't draft him there but would like to get them later.

00:09:38: Last year he's the twenty second player per game And played in seventy two games which was awesome!

00:09:45: He looked overmatch as number one option for playoffs.

00:09:50: Could be a good thing, could be a bad thing coming into the next season.

00:09:53: But here as games played last for his career twenty two seventy fifty six thirty-six seventy to which means he's average missing thirty one game per season and that's not even counting.

00:10:07: in fact you only play like eight games at Duke so there is little bit of an injury risk their.

00:10:14: I'm not just worried about the injury risks as being something systemic or predictive, but it's worth pointing out for sure.

00:10:21: What what is does from me seeing Jalen Johnson and Scottie Barnes there then Jamal Murray at eleven Donovan Mitchell at twelve?

00:10:30: I just think that one to turn this year is going be incredibly challenging.

00:10:33: you know You're really gonna want to decide like where your headed build wise pretty early which should always be cognizant of.

00:10:40: have an idea.

00:10:41: i don't think he was you go in with a certain building mind during the draft, but I do think like you're gonna want to have some idea of what you're trying to do because i think it's there's a lot of parity.

00:10:52: There um and yeah It's going to be little challenging.

00:10:56: so if You know If you roll The nine through eleven?

00:10:58: I Think that just Going To Be A Little A Lot That You Can even poke holes at.

00:12:23: maybe there are couple you can project a couple minutes just because some losses eight through twelve section rotation.

00:12:31: here we rebounder for what your paying And I just, I don't see it at seventeen.

00:12:36: It's wildly high and if you're the guy doing that in my league...I hope i'm drafting kind of around you.

00:12:46: You open this show by talking about Ben Simmons.

00:12:49: obviously a big question mark is are we going to see Ben Simmons two point zero after that playoff performance or is he gonna come back with renewed energy?

00:12:59: He seems like competitive type so very much looked like Ben Simmons in the playoffs.

00:13:07: And I don't want to overstate that.

00:13:08: and thinking he's going to have the yips, That's a good point by you aside say he comes back strong an like is out for blood.

00:13:14: I still think He's a bad pick at seventeen.

00:13:17: i just think what he brings.

00:13:18: statistically it can be a little overrated.

00:13:21: Yeah You're drafting him out of ceiling

00:13:23: absolute ceiling.

00:13:24: so So you agree with me on

00:13:31: But I think seventeen is too steep of a price there.

00:13:35: Oh yeah, I want to get a little bit more upside.

00:13:38: A couple guards so Don Mitchell at twelve and Hallie at thirteen.

00:13:42: they both give me pause?

00:13:43: I don't have really hard takes.

00:13:44: I just prefer some of the guards in The next couple of quadrants or sections of the draft And so I would be passing on those guys.

00:13:52: Both of them I will pass on aggressively For the player I have too low and that's Cooper flag at fifteen.

00:13:58: I haven't firmly had to one two turn easy.

00:14:00: Um, i wouldn't fault you if he took him as high is five.

00:14:04: um, I just think You know in points leagues as dan titus mentioned Um top-five player in point slings easy but man That guy's gonna do everything for that team.

00:14:16: As soon as kades off the board If you want to grab cooper flag?

00:14:19: I wouldn't fall to.

00:14:19: uh But Fifteen again, I think he's gonna come up and maybe he did.

00:14:25: But i just wanted to point that out where you had it at kuber flag as a locks first round player with nine cap?

00:14:31: I mean That was the number one.

00:14:33: when i first scanned through the list It was the thing that i put at with a bullet which is like ipop emoji And i didn't.

00:14:42: And I and i feel like i initially went down, and then it was like wait no.

00:14:45: No maybe up Like i kind of went back forth.

00:14:48: i mean he Was the forty six player per game last year?

00:14:51: And that was playing with no point guard.

00:14:53: He's playing with like brandon williams know no points guards yes no easy shots.

00:14:58: uh

00:15:00: He only hit one three per game but it looks what his shot Looks good.

00:15:04: i think you just didn't get any opportunities to Get easy easy shots in there.

00:15:09: So he's clearly going to be significantly better than, then it was last year.

00:15:15: the only question is how high can you go and How quickly?

00:15:20: Can we get their eye?

00:15:22: so I would like him his rookie season especially The second half of it too Like a super a superstar running back whose offensive line has decimated And this the offense collapses around them and you're just getting by on like twenty five touches again.

00:15:35: and fantasy You know, it's.

00:15:38: he had to do everything and everybody knew.

00:15:39: It was coming.

00:15:40: And so I you know with what?

00:15:41: just a healthier setup Just some more functional set up in Dallas.

00:15:45: i think that could be enough for him To completely smash.

00:15:48: but still Everything is gonna funnel through them.

00:15:52: you mentioned seeing Cooper flagging just like eye pop emoji because I have What?

00:15:58: I call the sticker shock player.

00:15:59: any rounds The player they you know whether kind of makes sense or not.

00:16:03: your just like you see it in your eyes bulge.

00:16:06: So for me, and this round that player was Austin Reeves at eighteen.

00:16:10: It makes complete sense.

00:16:11: I'm not saying...I think its too high.

00:16:14: Like..i feel like many of the players on next group are gonna actually go ahead with them come draft season.

00:16:19: but i think the initial placement is not horrible.

00:16:23: I don't think he's probably going to go that high in most leagues.

00:16:27: yeah there always those players you kind of go, gee we're really paying this for.

00:16:33: This guy and then he's always up there like a guy that always performed but your just like.

00:16:39: somehow You don't feel the upside is quite.

00:16:42: There are few players I can think of kinda Like that.

00:16:47: But yeah

00:16:48: exactly And part of it's priors.

00:16:51: What a meteoric rise For a player like Austin Reeves to become A fantasy superstar.

00:16:56: Yeah, no doubts.

00:16:57: And there's a better pathway or more of runway this season as well.

00:17:03: There is

00:17:04: one more player in this round, Natron and it happens every year.

00:17:09: So Janus at fourteen is silly because that means nothing.

00:17:13: We know like Season fantasy players knows It requires the specific build.

00:17:18: But if you want to be the guy at a punt free throw percentage, and I don't think anybody should try to win turnovers.

00:17:24: Like If your targeting turnovers You're targetting sixth place

00:17:27: like

00:17:27: in certain matchups?

00:17:28: So you could consider it in your streaming plan if he can tell you're gonna have To catch turnovers that week.

00:17:33: but i think if you are building into Your build That you're going to Be winning.

00:17:36: turnover is i dont.

00:17:37: what's that build?

00:17:38: how many centers Can start In your league?

00:17:40: five Because i've never been there if you were in his center Is only leg.

00:17:44: you would want too but anyways i digress.

00:17:46: But like, I think it comes into consideration as early as fourth or all if that's the build you want to go.

00:17:52: So Giannis is hard-to-place because of his nine cat discrepancies.

00:19:59: so i think Scotty has settled into what he's gonna be and I wouldn't really expect regression per se.

00:20:04: ingram going out kawaii coming in kawhaii come again have the lineup next season...I wouldn't worry about that too much.

00:20:11: because if you do.. I think you can kind of bank on getting Around his ceiling, but I don't think the floor is much lower than where you're taking them.

00:29:56: some of the guys' opportunity costs are taking Derek here right now just not for me this early analyzing kind where they're going.

00:30:09: His role in the offense will change a little bit because of the uses Jones Brown leaving.

00:30:16: So there's gonna be a lot of ball handling responsibilities that are going to then fall on To his shoulders where before you kind was able to operate In a lot Of space hitting A lot of threes like Kind of it Like I souped up three and D. And now He's Gonna have to play a Lot more.

00:43:59: and a reminder those players are Asia de Bonz at Washington Darren Peterson to Utah boozer two Memphis, and Caleb Wilson to Chicago.

00:44:52: so that they are a fascinating rotational kind of quagmire at this stage and starting.
